Metro Fire Introduces #AllCancersAllPeople Campaign with Pink and Blue Fire Engine

Press Conference at 1130 at Metro Fire Headquarters

Mather, CA — The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (Metro Fire) has partnered with the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation and the Movember Foundation to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and Men’s Health in November. This strategic partnership provides the campaign concept for a specially wrapped October Pink and Movember Blue fire engine known as #AllCancersAllPeople. This engine will be on display at an 11:30 am press conference at Metro Fire Headquarters, located at 10545 Armstrong Ave, Mather, CA 95655.

Press conference participants include Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation Executive Director Cindy Love and cancers survivors from Metro Fire in addition to others who have been affected by cancer directly and indirectly. These survivors and others will also be available for personal interviews immediately after the press conference.

Support from Vehicle Wraps Inc. of Sacramento, combined with financial assistance from the Sacramento Metropolitan Firefighters Association and Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522, provided the pink and blue wrap at no cost to Metro Fire.
